Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Panel Installer to join our installation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar panel installation, including residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar panel systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Your role will be crucial in helping our customers reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform solar panel installations on residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement and configuration of solar panels.
• Install mounting systems, panels, inverters, and other related equipment.
• Connect electrical wiring to panels and inverters.
• Ensure installations comply with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with solar panel systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service and educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other team members, including electricians, roofers, and project managers, to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Solar Panel Installer or similar role.
• Knowledge of solar panel installation processes, electrical systems, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with various types of solar panel systems and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) or equivalent is preferred.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or coursework in electrical systems, renewable energy, or a related field is preferred.
